2018 Tesla Model S Consumer Review
Everything you need to know and nothing you don’t.
Tesla has been a pioneer in the electric car and sustainability industry. They are working toward creating a sustainable future that everyone can be a part of. 2018 Tesla Model S is a car that will please car enthusiasts, adrenaline junkies, tech lovers, and environmentalists alike.
SPECS
Usually when you think of getting 102 mpg in the city, you don’t exactly think “wow it must be fast”. Tesla has created a car that not only gets excellent gas mileage, but can also go 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. Fortunately, Tesla has added smart air suspension so that you’ll have a smooth ride at any speed. The only bummer is the price; its estimated to be priced around $68,000 for a base model. This car has all of the bells and whistles that you would expect on a luxury car, including heated front seats, a backup camera, a GPS enabled garage door opener, keyless entry, and LED fog lights.
AESTHETICS
Tesla has made a few changes to the exterior from the original Model S. They’ve made it slightly more streamlined and smooth by removing the fake grill. Some have complained that the back of the car looks too bulky in comparison with the rest of the vehicle.
INTERIOR
For all the music lovers out there, this car has 11 speakers and an 8” subwoofer. The car can seat 5 adults fairly comfortably. You can use google maps, and manage your music and Bluetooth from a 17” touchscreen that adapts so you can see comfortably in the daytime and as well as at night. Every amenity that you could need to be comfortable is included in the Model S.
OVERALL
The new Model S is no doubt a top of the line electric car. However, it isn’t extremely different than the previous Model S. If you’re on a budget, it might not be a bad idea to look at used Model S vehicles. Some of the used Model S cars are available for $40,000. To sum it all up, if you are looking for a luxury electric sports car, the Model S is the car for you.
